Once all questions are answered and prescription details updated, “Confirm” the script and PBS Authorities submission will be enabled.
The current workflow only allows for a single application of PBS Authorities at a time. Once all the individual PBS Authorities are approved, the doctor can then perform batch approval of Electronic Prescription.
Once submitted, there are 3 possible outcomes:
- Approved
- Awaiting Assessment
- Rejected
Approved Submission
Once approved, an approval number will be filled in the “Phone Approval” number text box. The “Phone Approval” textbox will now be named “PBS Online Approval Number”.
Printed paper prescription will include the approval number.
Electronic prescription will be sent using the approval number.
